Past Simple + Past Continuous
หมายถึงกำลังเกิดเหตุการณ์อะไรอยู่แล้วมีเหตุการณ์อื่นเข้ามาแทรกโดยที่
Past Continuous เป็นเหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิด และ
Past Simple เป็นเหตุการณ์ที่เข้ามาแทรก
ตัวอย่าง
I was eating my cake then I saw Phan.
ฉันกำลังกินเค้กของฉันอยู่ แล้วฉันก็เห็นแป้น
(I was eating my cake เป็น past continuous และ I saw Phan เป็นpast simple)
I was taking a shower then Malee came in.
ฉันกำลังอาบน้ำอยู่ แล้วมาลีก็โผล่มา
(I was taking a shower เป็น past continuous และ Malee came in เป็นpast simple)
While I was mopping the floor, I found the ring.
